THE TEN COMMANDMENTS (EXODUS 20:2-17 NKJV)
1 “I am the Lord your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage. You shall have no other gods before Me.
2 “You shall not make for yourself a carved image, or any likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth; you shall not bow down to them nor serve them. For I, the Lord your God, am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers on the children to the third and fourth generations of those who hate Me, but showing mercy to thousands, to those who love Me and keep My Commandments.
3 “You shall not take the name of the Lord your God in vain, for the Lord will not hold him guiltless who takes His name in vain.
4 “Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy. Six days you shall labor and do all your work, but the seventh day is the Sabbath of the Lord your God. In it you shall do no work: you, nor your son, nor your daughter, nor your male servant, nor your female servant, nor your cattle, nor your stranger who is within your gates. For in six days the Lord made the heavens and the earth, the sea, and all that is in them, and rested the seventh day. Therefore the Lord blessed the Sabbath day and hallowed it.
5 “Honor your father and your mother, that your days may be long upon the land which the Lord your God is giving you.
6 “You shall not murder.
7 “You shall not commit adultery.
8 “You shall not steal.
9 “You shall not bear false witness against your neighbor.
10 “You shall not covet your neighbor's house; you shall not covet your neighbor's wife, nor his male servant, nor his female servant, nor his ox, nor his donkey, nor anything that is your neighbor's."
GRACE

A DISPOSITION TO BE GENEROUS OR HELPFUL, GOOD WILL, CLEMENCY, MERCY, A FAVOR RENDERED VOLUNTARILY, INDULGENCE, TEMPORARY IMMUNITY OR EXEMPTION, REPRIEVE. A DIVINE LOVE AND PROTECTION BESTOWED FREELY ON HUMAN BEINGS, PROTECTION OR SANCTIFICATION BY THE FAVOR OF GOD. AN EXCELLENCE OR POWER GRANTED BY GOD. TO FAVOR OR HONOR WILLINGLY.
REPRIEVE--TO HOLD BACK, TO DELAY THE PUNISHMENT OF, TO GIVE TEMPORARY RELIEF TO. A WARRANT FOR SUCH A DELAY, TEMPORARY RELIEF, AS FROM DANGER OR PAIN.
(God's Mercy triumphants over the judgment in our life!)
FRIEND
FRIEND--A person whom one knows well, is fond of, likes & trusts, intimate associate, close acquaintance, a person on the same side of a struggle, a supporter or a friend of labor, cause or movement.
ARE YOU A REASON, A SEASON, OR A LIFETIME?
When someone is in your life for a REASON...it is usually to meet a need you have expressed. They have come to assist you through a difficulty, to provide you with guidance and support, to aid you physically, emotionally, or spiritually. They may seem like a godsend, and they are! They are there for the reason you need them to be. Then, without any wrongdoing on your part, or at an inconvenient time, this person will say or do something to bring the relationship to an end. Sometimes they die. Sometimes they walk away. Sometimes they act up and force you to take a stand. What we must realize is that our need has been met, our desire fulfilled, their work is done. The prayer you sent up has been answered. And now it is time to move on.
Then people come into your life for a SEASON. Because your turn has come to share, grow, or learn. They bring you an experience of peace, or make you laugh. They may teach you something you have never done. They usually give you an unbelievable amount of joy. Believe it! It is real! But, only for a season.
LIFETIME relationships teach you lifetime lessons: things you must build upon in order to have a solid emotional foundation. Your job is to accept the lessons, love the person, and put what you have learned to use in all other relationships and areas of your life. It is said that love is blind but friendship is clairvoyant. THANK YOU FOR BEING A PART OF MY LIFE!
